Kibale Forest National Park
This Park shares a border with Queen Elizabeth National Park and lies in Western Uganda. L’Hoest’s monkeys, Colubus and red monkeys are found here, but it the Chimpanzees that the Park is most popular for. It is an experience in itself to see these playful primates swing through the canopy above and you may even spot a leopard or a lion during your game drive. Chimpanzee trekking involves walking through the rain forest in search for them for about 2-5 hours. Upon finding them, visitors are limited to only 1 hour of viewing them.
