Enjoy a 6 Days Safari to Nairobi, Ol-Pejeta, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara.
After breakfast, you depart Nairobi and drive North towards the foothills of Mt. Kenya. At the equator, you turn towards the world renowned Ol-Pejeta Conservancy. Arriving in time for lunch, you check in to Serena Sweetwaters tented camp. After a sumptuous lunch, you will commence the game drive through the Ol-Pejeta Conservancy, home of the Big 5!
Being one of only four private game conservancies found in Kenya, the area has a higher wildlife concentration than any of Kenya`s national parks, making it perfect for intimate game-viewing experiences. Ol-Pejeta is home to the largest population of black rhino in East Africa and has the last two northern white rhinos in the world. Rhinos across the planet are heavily threatened by poaching due their horn being in demand. The conservancy is playing a key role in creating a better habitat for the rhino and other endangered wildlife.
You will visit the Rhino Sanctuary, which is also a home to famous blind rhino-Baraka. Here you can get up-close with Baraka and feed him too. You will return to the tented camp in time for a refreshing shower and dinner. Overnight at the camp.
After breakfast, you will visit Jane Goodhall’s Chimp Sanctuary, which is home to around 40 chimps which have been rescued from all over. A touching and eye opening experience. The rest of the day is left to your leisure with options of either resting by the water hole as you watch wildlife graze or, go for a game drive within Ol-Pejeta Conservancy. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
After breakfast you will make your way out of the conservancy and drive towards the Great Rift Valley and into Lake Nakuru National Park. Arriving mid-morning, you jump straight into a game drive en-route to the lodge. You arrive at the lodge just in time for lunch. After a short time to relax, you will depart for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
After breakfast by the shores of Lake Nakuru, you depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve – jewel of Kenya's Game Parks. En-route, you will pass Mt. Longonot and Mt. Suswa on the right before taking a right at Mahi Maiu township towards Narok town. You will arrive at Mara Serena Safari Lodge located in the Mara North conservancy in time for lunch. After lunch and a short time to relax, you will embark on an evening game drive through the plains of the Mara. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
After breakfast, you will depart for a day long game drive equipped with a picnic lunch. You may choose to do 2 shorter game drives instead in which case, your driver will bring you back to the lodge for lunch and a short rest. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge. Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari.
After breakfast and a short game drive en-route, you depart back for Nairobi arriving around 3pm.
