Lake Nakuru National Park

The Park is famous for its millions of pink flamingos lining on the lakeshore. The park is a Sanctuary to the Black Rhino, White Rhino and the Rothschild Giraffe. Bird life include common species like the lesser and Greater Flamingos, African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White and Pink Backed Pelicans plus other intra- African Migrants. Nakuru is an alkaline lake which is what further attracts birds and wildlife to its shores.
